Operation Write Home Challenge #161

Operation Write Home collects greeting cards to supply our troops so they will have them to use.  This card was inspired by sketch challenge #161.
Made with Stampin' Up cardstock, designer paper, flower brads, ribbon, and Word Window punch.  Used Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Ovals with my Cuttlebug for the More Mustard and Wild Wasabi ovals.  The hot air balloon is from the Summer in Paris Cricut Cartridge.  The "Just Because" sentiment is from SU "Notably Ornate" stamp set.

Recycled Altoid Tin for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog

Here's my project for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog: Save the Earth which was to make a project using at least one recycled item. A recyled Altoid tin makes a great photo album.  I'm going to put pics of my 9 grandchildren on the accordian fold cardstock.  I then want to create a list of the kid's names and their birthdates to help me remember and put it on the inside cover.  Products used:
Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art (tree and hearts) and A Child's Year (girl with kite) Cricut cartridges
Stampin' Up DP (Welcome Neighbor) to cover the top and inside, Chocolate chip and Whisper White CS
Ribbon from my stash was wrapped around the other exposed outside areas.
