Paper Players Clean and Simple Challenge #104

Sometimes clean and simple cards are hard for me to do, but this one came together quickly. Decided I needed to use some of the many chipboard items I have.

CS: Read Red, Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Ink:  Marina Mist, Read Red Marker (SU)
Stamp:  Birthday Block (SU)
Tag:  Chipboard Shapes Picnic, Retail, Inc
Embossing:  Fiskars Texture Plate, Party
Red ribbon from my stash

  1. This is just so fun---I LOVE the gingham chipboard....just gives this whole creation a country feel that is so warm & homey! The ribbons and background embossing add just the right touch, too. Thanks so much for playing my "wordsmith" challenge this week at the Paper Players!
BTW, it would be helpful if you turned off your word verification--we hate those pesky things---it makes commenting go so much faster, and we want you to get all the comments you deserve! Just email me if you have questions on how to do it!

  2. Bonita, I love the blue, red and white! it is such a crisp color scheme and reminds me of a picnic on a warm summer day. Fabulous birthday card.
So glad you were able to join the Paper Players this week

  3. Oh - I think this card is very striking. The gingham stands out wonderfully against the embossed background. And the sentiment is done wonderfully! Thanks for playing along with us over at The Paper Players.

  4. There is noticeably a lot to realize about this. I think you made various nice points in features also.
